Checkout Settings
This can be found from the Checkout menu item of the Sales Configuration.
NOTEMost of these settings will not be useable for Glyde Marketplaces.

This section will allow you to configure the checkout page. There are many options here, so we will highlight the main configuration as most of these can be left as default.

Allow Guest Checkout | Allows you to set whether guest users can check out, or if you wish to only allow registered customers (customers requiring sign up) in order to place an order. | Store View |
Display Billing Address On | Select where the Billing Address will appear in - typically this can be left as default at Payment Method. | Store View |
Enable Terms and Conditions | Enables a link to the Terms and Conditions from the Checkout (depending on the theme if this will be available). | Store View |
Maximum Number of Items to Display in Order Summary | Choose the maximum numbers to appear in the checkout order summary view. | Store View |
Shopping Cart

Quote Lifetime (days) | You can determine how long a price is valid by setting the cart quote lifetime in the configuration. For example, if a shopper leaves a cart unattended after several days, the quotes price for some items may no longer be the same as when it was added. By default, the quote lifetime is set to 30 days. | Scope View |
After Adding a Product Redirect to Shopping Cart | Keep this set to No. By default, there will be a pop up when you add a product to the cart, to allow the customer to choose to checkout or keep shopping. | Scope View |
Number of Items to Display Pager | Determines the number of items in the shopping cart before pagination is required. By default, this is set to 20 items in the cart. | Scope View |

My Cart Link
The cart link in the upper-right corner of the header gives a quick summary of the contents of the cart. The link can be configured to display the number of different products (or SKUs) in the cart, or the total quantity of all items.

Mini Cart
The mini cart and displays a summary of the items in the cart. It is enabled by default and appears when you click the number of items in the My Cart Link.

Other settings on this page may remain at their default values, unless you wish to modify more advanced settings and have the requisite knowledge to do so. Select Save Config from the top right when configuration is complete.
