Fuse UI - Mapping Product Categories

To map a Vendor's Store Category with the Marketplace, navigate to the Vendor's row in the Manage Store Connection page and from the Actions column to the right of the grid, choose Select > Map Categories.

If the Vendor is connected successfully, you will see all the available categories from the store will be loaded in the left column from the main section, and the mappable options on the right.

It may take time to load the categories from the store, if there a lot of categories to sync across.

Category From Your Store

This column will show all Categories identified and synced from the origin store.

Category on the Marketplace

This column allows you to choose which Categories on the Marketplace this row should be mapped to. The dropdown is a multi-select, so you can add multiple categories for a single Category from the Vendor Store.

Sync Mode

Select the Sync Mode for this specific Category.

  • Always Sync: Ensures all products in this Category from the origin store will have their data synced (provided other attributes are also synced).
  • Do Not Sync: Prevents importing new / updating existing products in this associated Category.

Copy Mapping

Used to map the Category to its Children Categories.

When done mapping, select Save Mapping on the top right of the page to go back to the Manage Store Connections page. Selecting <- Cancel will not save any changes and take you back to the previous page.

Products must have at least ONE of their categories mapped to the Marketplace in order for it to be synced in.
