Configuring Category Commissions

Category Commissions allow Marketplace Owners to charge the vendor a percentage for products that belong in specific categories. This is different from, but can compound with, Vendor Seller Fees.

NOTE

In order to use this feature, the Category Commission must be configured to Allow Category Commissions > Yes. This can be found in Stores > Settings > Configuration > Omnyfy > Marketplace Commercials Management > Category Commissions.


To set a fee to a Category, simply navigate to the specific Category from Catalog > Inventory > Categories from the Admin Portal as a Marketplace Owner.


Select the Category from the Category Tree on the left of the page.


When the details are loaded on the right, navigate to Category Commission and set a value in the Category Commission Percentage (without the % symbol).


If left blank, the Category Commission will default to 0.

Select Save from the top right of the page, after making the changes to commit the values.
